Hello Everyone
As Im considering updating my Ios ( currently on 7.1.1 ).
What is your experience as far as stability and performance on your Iphone 5S with the newer Ios Version.
I would think that updating to the latest IOS8 might slowdown the performance of my "old" iphone 5S.
What do you think?

You can only update your phone to the current version of iOS, which, as of this writig is iOS 8.3. So, right now, your choices are stay with what you have or go to 8.3. I'd recommend 8.3.
iOS 8 runs perfectuly on an iPHone 5S. I put it on mine as soon as it was available. Very pleased.
Only fly in the 8.3 ointment that I've run across (an i5 and an i6+, as well as an iPad 4, just for the record) is that you have to go thru the Settings with a very fine tooth comb after the upgrade. It adds quite a bit of new stuff and/or enables old, much of which you will not need and which will increase battery drain if left unheeded. Not that this is bad, just that it caters to a wider clientele, including the Watch fanatics.
