I want to attach a file from my dropbox when I am using the gmail app on my Iphone 6 plus. It is not possible. Why? What can I do with this?
I don´t want to go to dropbox first and then share a link from there . I want to attach a file from my gmail but gmail on iphone does not give me this option. Android did!! What is the solution?

Why are you asking us? Ask Google. Meanwhile, you can attach it from the Dropbox app. I do it all the time.
Honestly, because I thought you could help me. Should I ask google? Does it make any difference? I just thought that you may have encountered the same problem I did. Am I completely wrong? I want to attach the file from my email. I did it all the time. The reason is simple. I may be writing an email and in the middle of the process I realize I want to attach a file so I do it , instead of starting from dropbox. Please tell me if what I am saying is ridiculous because it sounds reasonable to me. Thanks
Google wrote the app. Apple did not write the app. For the most part, the only way to attach any object to an email is from the app that owns the object. If this is unacceptable to you then you have the wrong phone.
I think you are right unfortunately. I have the wrong phone. It was stupid not to check this first. I assumed it worked the same. Obiously, I was wrong. Thank you!
