iPhone wifi knocks other devices off internet. Wifi and wired.

When I connect my iPhone 5s running iOS 8.3 to my home wifi network, everything else stops working. This just started today. I never had this problem before.

I have factory reset my router and reset all settings on my iPhone.

What is very weird is that if the wifi on my phone is on, netflix will stop once its used up the buffered data, my laptop internet just stops, but as soon as I turn off the wifi on my phone, everything resumes as normal.

Any suggestions?

That's quite strange. Have you Reset Network Settings on the phone? You said you reset the router; did you do it by removing all power? With many routers that's the only way to do a hard reboot.

IT actually turned out to be that iPhone was having a problem backing up to iCloud.

wend when I went in and manually backed up to iCloud on my device, it seemed to have fixed it.

Still have no idea why it was completely stopping my internet.
