How can I test my ping to my xbox 360?

Hi, I'd like to test my ping latency to my xbox but i can't get the results i'm looking for. I tried to use the Network Utility and Terminal (with the command -m)but none of the time for each request.User uploaded file


Can anyone give me specifics directions?


Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me!


PS: i understand very well english (i'm not a native speaker) but i might not understand technical terms.

1. Pinging the Xbox will only really tell you how long it takes for data to reach the Xbox on your local network. Nothing more.


2. To get an Xbox to respond to a Ping request, in needs to be in Diagnostic Mode, that is, it needs it be itself testing its network connection.

Set the Xbox to test its network connection, and then activate the Ping from Network Utility.


3. Make sure you are using the correct IP address for the Xbox
