Mail 4.6 - "Missing Send" Button?????

Hi,

I am using Mail 4.6 on OS 10.6.8 and the Send button is not highlighted (Gray) when I create a new email. Clicking on Send does nothing. My outgoing mail server settings are all correct. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
