Difference(s) Between Stuck and Dead Pixel on iPhone 6 Screen and How to Fix It ?

Hello everyone,

The previous day, I discovered a pixel that shining in white on my screen. It appears only white or color backgrounds. I didn’t see them on dark background ( For example, the black one). As you see in pictures below this text, this pixel shining like a star on white background, seems to be light -transparent on color background. I could not solve it is stuck or dead pixel. I tried a pixel fixer for 20 minutes but it did not work. Can you help me? How can I fix them without go to Genius ? No Apple Store in my city.

Thanks for your answers….

apart from it being confusing that your arrow points away rather then point at the issue

then I would say it looks like a dead pixel

the only difference between a dead and stuck pixel is if it's periodic or not

a pixel are 3 switches 1 for red 1 for green 1 for blue

all of them can break periodic or content where they are stuck on on or off

if all 3 are stuck on on then it will display as white at all times

Yes. I forgot turn the arrows, sorry...... I undeerstood from your text, my pixel will be stucked. As you told, " 3 are stuck on on then it will display as white at all times". Slightly transparent white on light color background. shine star on white background and seems normal in dark background. My pixel wasn't big as seen as in the pictures. For better look in the picture, I highlight the pixel in "photoshop" a little bit.

Does anyone else have any ideas? I think if it is a dead pixel, it will show no color, only black( RGB(0,0,0) ). But now, it shows shine white on color and white backgrounds and it is equal RGB (255,255,255). This does not indicate that all pixel color works at the same time? Also, I don't see this pixel on black background. I am really confused.... 😕
