I just upgraded to Yosemite on my Macbook Pro- I use Picasa 3.9 for my photo editing & it has been great- now that i've upgraded to Yosemite Picasa is no longer recognizing my photo library even though it is still there- thoughts or suggestions?

Contact Google support for support on their products - this forum is for user to user support of Photos for Mac
And Google has never had proper access to the iPhoto library - google did some hack and there is no reason to expect it to continue to work at all - you always have needed to choose one photo management product and use it
