When doing a search I clicked on a image and had several pop ups changing my browser preference and opening up ads to purchase home furniture and such. I corrected all my preferences as well as deleting the cookies and relevant history. But two items showed up on my launchpad. "MegaBackup", "Reset Search" and "MacKeeper" How do I get rid of them?

Run a scan w/"MaLwareByTes AnTiMaLware".
I tried ALL of the remedies posted here. None worked.
Than remembered I had "MaLwareByTes AnTiMaLware" installed on my MacBooK Pro.
After 2 scans & restarts MegaBackup & other Malware I did not realize I had were gone.
Simple, no hassle remedy.

If you would please explain exactly how to delete MegaBackup once Activity Monitor is open. I have done that but still unable to get rid of this file. Thank you!
