Problems seeing how to charge iPhone 4S

being partially sighted I struggle to charge the iPhone 4S by putting the charger in the right way

eeven with a big sticker on the correct side it is hard to get it into the connectors easily

i like. Case that protects both the front and back of the phone as I regularly drop it ....

any suggestions anyone ?

apple have grew at accessibility features and cannot believe they gave not considered this issue

iPhone 4S, iOS 8.3

You may find that using a case such as an OtterBox would provide the protection you want while also helping you with charging. The OtterBox has a little flap that covers the charging port, while leaving the speakers exposed. If you had a case that had a cover on the charger port, you would then be able to get the charger lined to the phone port after lifting the flap. That may provide you more of the tactile feedback you are asking for.
