Hi,
It started after update to iOS 8.3. Music on iPhone will start paying by itself when the iPhone is locked. I had it happened multiple times and can not figure it out what's causing it. Last time it was in my pocket at work and all of a sudden it started blaring out of my pocket during the meeting. It was quite embarasing.
Any suggestion how to stop this is greatly appreciated.

Can be due to pandora app or broken headphones, which are triggering the music app.
Once i deleted pandora app it worked fine.
Got an email today from apple support. Looks to be some solid reasons.

It happened to me this week. The music was indeed coming from Pandora. Handoff was already off for settings.
I have run pandora for a long time, and it is not what is waking up. It is the Iphone music app that is waking up.
My music is playing even when out of range or vehicles are shut down for the night. Sounds like you had a different problem.
Maybe it has something to do with Bluetooth.

I also have this issue and I am not 100% certain that it has never done it without the head phones plugged in? I am being more observant and waiting for the next time it happens....
Random music plays at random time. This forum has no useful help.
What was the resolution to music playing randomly?? My 6+ has been doing this AND now it will randomly bring up Siri while the music is playing, so it’s a double decker. So annoying! Please help
And it's not in any kind of order. Sometimes I get French lessons.
