ical on ipad missing entries

Hi there,

I have an iPad 2 running IOS 8.1.2 and I notice not all activities are syncing. An entry that shows op on desktops and an iPhone 4 running IOS 7.1.2 is not seen by the iPad even though the particular agenda is turned on. I've quit and relaunched iCal on iPad a few times and changed the label of this activity to see if changes were picked up. On other machines they do but the iPad refuses to see the entry. Any ideas?
