is there any way that i can set up the phone again with out the id?

i brought a new iphone 6 but unfortunately i smashed the screen, so i decided to change back to my old iphone 5

in doing so i erased the phone and restored it to factory settings, when i went to turn on the phone again it told me that it needs the original apple id ( since its my phone and i brought it new i know what the apple id was)

when i managed to guess what the apple id was it was my name but my last name spelt wrong. i managed to get the id but it is saying its disabled for security reasons... is there any way that i can set up the phone again with out the id?thankyou

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.5

No, there is no way you can set it up without the ID. It is locked with an Activation Lock. You can do the following to re-enable the old Apple ID:

Apple ID Disabled

If all else fails, contact Apple Support for help in getting the ID re-enabled:

ACCOUNT SECURITY CONTACT

Note: They will not be able to help you with the Activation Lock without proof of ownership (original sales receipt), but they can help you to get the original Apple ID re-enabled with little problem.

Cheers,
