Hi, I have connected my MacBook to one external TFT Hyundai L70S+ Monitor (with the miniDVI - VGA Adapter) but the MacBook does not recognize my monitor. t shows a PD421, what I think is an LCD TV from Hyundai as well. My screen keeps black and I do not find anywhere where I can configure the screen. There are not drivers for Macintsh, are there?
Can someone help me, please.
Thanks!
MacBook White 1,83 - 80GB HD - 2GB (EX-Random Shut Down),
Mac OS X (10.4.8)
The MacBook should have no trouble seeing that display with built-in drivers.
Try disconnecting the Mac from the display, and then properly shutting it down from the Apple menu, and then reconnecting the display before starting the machine back up.
When I plug the monitor it keeps black and "sleep" when I pull out the Kable then I get the blue screen and the NO SIGNAL thing..... I am sure it cannot recognice it and thinks it is this LCD TV and so it keeps sleeped.... any other possibility?
Is it normal that any TFTs will not work with a MacBook?
Thank you.
Newer cable.....Nothing!
So there is no way of telling a MacBook which monitor is atached, it will always detect it but you cannot choose other, or? An other thougts?
Thank you
Resetting the PRAM should force it to look only at the internal display if no display is attached, and start from there. If it can't recognize the display as attached, it is possible the video port is faulty and needs looking at by AppleCare.
