MacBook will not recognize my TFT.... HELP!

Hi, I have connected my MacBook to one external TFT Hyundai L70S+ Monitor (with the miniDVI - VGA Adapter) but the MacBook does not recognize my monitor. t shows a PD421, what I think is an LCD TV from Hyundai as well. My screen keeps black and I do not find anywhere where I can configure the screen. There are not drivers for Macintsh, are there?
Can someone help me, please.
Thanks!

Well I tried this and nothing!

When I plug the monitor it keeps black and "sleep" when I pull out the Kable then I get the blue screen and the NO SIGNAL thing..... I am sure it cannot recognice it and thinks it is this LCD TV and so it keeps sleeped.... any other possibility?
Is it normal that any TFTs will not work with a MacBook?
Thank you.
