Jun 28, 2015 4:16 AM in response to MissBP23by JaxFLBear,Go to Settings (app) > Passbook & Apple Pay and select the card used for the transaction. There will be setting for 'Billing Information', which you may need to scroll to find. Make sure that's set to correct address. If you have multiple cards loaded into Apple Pay, you may want to check the 'Billing Information' for all of them.

Jun 28, 2015 4:19 PM in response to JaxFLBearby MissBP23,I Went into each card's billing address and they are all Correct. I triEd to reload again, and it's still giving me the red exclamation point. I don't know where the problem is.....

Jul 1, 2015 8:50 AM in response to MissBP23by Mybella7930,I don't frequently reload my Starbucks card, but I just tried to a couple days ago and had the same issue. The address I have tied to cards since rollout has not changed. It has to be a Starbucks app issue, because I used the same card via Apple Pay at the grocery store just minutes before, with no issue.

Jul 1, 2015 8:57 AM in response to Mybella7930by JaxFLBear,In store transactions are handled differently than in app transactions. In store are "card present" transactions, while in app transactions are "card not present". Card present transactions don't require address verification to be processed.

Jul 1, 2015 9:22 AM in response to JaxFLBearby Mybella7930,That makes sense that they would be handled differently. However, I never had an issue reloading my Starbucks card with Apple Pay until recently - as I mentioned, the billing address has not changed, and I verified it was correctly linked to the cards. I also tried reloading with a non-Apple Pay card, just one attached to my Starbucks account, and that failed with the same "Billing Address incorrect" message.
Out of curiosity, I just tried again after updating to iOS 8.4 last night - still no go.

Jul 1, 2015 10:12 AM in response to Mybella7930by JaxFLBear,Definitely sounds like a Starbucks issue. Most of my Apple Pay transactions are in store. Lately, the only in app transaction is using the BJ's Brewhouse app to pay our check which I've not had any issues doing.

Jul 5, 2015 7:01 AM in response to MissBP23by Fallen City,This worked flawlessly before -- used it all the time and have wondered why more places don't adopt a similar approach. Must be a slight change in the app. Hopefully this gets resolved in a few days.

ApplicationsI'm confused. When I got my 6S+ for Christmas, I restored from my 4S, and then added a credit card. A few days later, I opened the Wallet app and found two cards - the card I added, and the Starbucks card. I haven't yet used Apple Pay, but I did buy a Starbucks coffee using the Starbucks app. I infer that I could have used Apple Pay and the Starbucks card, and expect it would have worked the same way as using the Starbucks app.
I went to Settings/Wallet & Apple Pay - and only saw the one card I added there.
Could someone please explain the relationship between my Starbucks account (actually, my wife's - but it's only on my phone), and Apple Pay?
Thanks

You can use Apple Pay, which uses your credit card, to pay at Starbuck or you can use the Starbucks app which is connected to your Starbucks card. There is one significant difference. If you use Apple Pay, you do not earn rewards (free coffee after twelve purchases). This has kept me using the Starbucks app. If you connect your Starbucks card to Wallet, the card will also appear there. I have a favorite store selected so, when I'm in that neighborhood, I can pay from the lock screen or Notifications on my Apple Watch.
Note that you can also set up the Starbuck app so that you can refill it using Apple Pay.

Jan 10, 2016 6:21 AM in response to Meg St._Clairby rseijas,I'm having this issue now. Can't use auto-reload and can't reload manually through the app on my iPhone. Auto-reload was working flawlessly for more than a year when suddenly is just stopped. Same card used for reloads that is valid through 2017. I tried adding a different credit card only to receive the same error. I can use that same credit card in a store to reload with no problem and my updated balance is reflected immediately via the app. Something is birked on the Starbucks end of the process. Even Apple Pay fails.
