MAC OS X 10.6.7 startup stuck at Apple Logo

I downloaded MAC OS X 10.6.2 on VMware on my Windows 8 PC. Then, I used it for about 1 day. Then I upgraded from OS X 10.6.2 to 10.6.7 to get a better experience. But, when I started the Virtual Machine, it was stuck at the Apple

Installing OS X on a PC is a violation of the software license agreement. You need to buy a Mac if you want to run OS X on it.
