itunes purchases greyed out with no cloud icon to enable download

I purchased a TV series on Apple TV (using the same Apple id as on my macbook pro). I watched the first 4 episodes on Apple TV and now wish to download a couple of episodes to my MacBook Pro so I can watch them on the go. However, although the series appears in My Purchases / not in My Library, they are greyed out and there is no cloud icon to click to start the download! How do I download them?

Do you currently have the 'TV shows with Caution' tickbox ticked on the Parental tab in iTunes > Preferences (command-comma) that is blocking their download ?

Yes indeed I had. Thank you. It is odd that I could download seasons 2 and 3 with the tab ticked but not season 4! (West Wing).
