apple watch starts in do not disturb mode

when my watch is turned on - the watch remains in do not disturb mode even if its after 7am

iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.4

Before taking your  Watch back to Apple you might try resetting your iPhone and force a restart of your  Watch.

To force a restart of your  Watch press and hold both the Digital Crown and the Side button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart.

Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.

appreciate the response. i believe there is a bug. With the iPhone in NOT 'do not disturb' mode - the iWatch remains in 'do not disturb' It is not mirroring. And, manually turning off 'do not disturb mode' on the Watch - doesn't work. The Watch remains in do not disturb. Had to do a hard re-boot on the Watch to fix. This is all happening after I turned off the watch t night - and turned it on later in the day - the Watch had the correct time.

Does not happen every time.

If you do not like that, then open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and set:

Do Not Disturb > Mirror iPhone = "Off"

Your Apple Watch is warrantied. I suggest you bring it to an Apple Store or Authorized Apple Service Center so they can assess this issue and advise you how to proceed.
