Wifi won't find networks

Hello,
Today my Macbook randomly restarted (a common problem that I have since Maverick.. I talk about it here > ATH won't run) and once I got back in my desktop, I noticed that the Wi-Fi wasn't able to find any network, even though there are plenty around me and my other devices are connected to my own one. So I tried to run an AHT test and I found out that - apparently - there is nothing wrong.

I am now connect by Tethering USB using my phone and it works just fine.. So I was wondering if any of you had a solution to my problem or if my only possibile choice is to go by an Apple Store.

try this- save your wifi password

turn wifi Off. go to Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration

find the following files

com.apple.airport.preferences.plist

com.apple.network.identification.plist

NetworkInterfaces.plist

preferences.plist

copy them all to the desktop for backup, but then delete the originals

Empty trash, reboot mac. Turn wifi back ON, join preferred network

also, see if 10.10.4 will fix your wifi problems. I've installed it and it seems to have helped me

Hello John,
thank you for the kind answer.

Actually this morning I just told myself: what if instead of just rebooting I just turn it off complitely?
And so I did and know the Wi-Fi works just fine. What the ****? That's so strange, isn't it?
