Apple Music Radio not working. Get the error message: 'Unable to start station. There was a problem starting the station. Try again later'. Is it only for the US?

Hi Guys. Hope either Apple or the community can provide an answer.

For me:

Apple Music Radio is not fully working. Get the error message: 'Unable to start station. There was a problem starting the station. Try again later'. Is it only for the US?

Beats 1 radio works fine.

But any of the set radio stations e.g. Pop. Hip Hop etc and any I try to create based on an artist receive the error above.

If i set my iTunes account to the US under settings then they work just fine.

So is this a US only feature?

Thanks.

So annoyed with Apple.

I'm from the UK, and I purposefully kept my iTunes Match subscription going for the last 3-4 years, waiting for iTunes Radio to be released to the UK. I was expecting to get the same features that the guys in the US did .... no-ads on iTunes Radio for Match subscribers.

So after all this time, I find that I only get access to the crappy Beats Radio. Great if you like all that (C)rap music & pop - but not so good for ageing rockers like myself.

I was adamant that I would not move to Spotify, but looks like Apple have forced my hand 😟

I am getting the same issue in Canada, though I have subscribed and I'm getting this error on all radio stations, including Beats 1. I could play Beats 1 on my computer, though before it played I received a similar error and then it just started playing which was odd, but I can't get any radio station working on my phone. I subscribed on Monday to Apple Music (family plan) and still today, nothing. Kind of annoying as I'm sure some of the early days of Beats 1 radio will be their best.

Hey guys - I think I figured it out (at least for myself). If you are (1) logged into APPLE MUSIC, (2) signed up for their trial, and are (3) experiencing this issue, just log out and log back into Apple Music. To sign out, click the top left icon (see image below) and click "Sign out" > Sign back in and you should be good.

I did oddly have to select my plan again, where it then said you are already a member but then all now works great. I get all stations with no issues.
