Icloud music library not activating

When I try to switch on Icloud Music Library it switches back off within a few seconds automatically.

I've tried all the methods so far: airplane mode, remove/add my account, reboot, closing Music app, disabling Wifi.

Country Romania.

I even contacted Apple Support, they had no idea about this..strange.

I see no error message, just the switch going back off by itself in a matter of seconds.

Hi guys,

So glad to find so many Romanian fellows here.

And also so sad to find out so many of us have the same problem.

I was excited when  Music launched because I could finally ditch Spotify. Not that I hate Spotify, but I'm paying through a Polish PayPal account (cheapest in EU).

Anyway... today I resubscribed to Spotify because  Music is plain rubbish without the Cloud Library. I mean... if you can't add stuff to your music collection it's useless.

And I'm not talking about offline, because I have 4GB of data, but for f**k sake I want to save artists I like to listen to them later.

So until they fix it, I won't subscribe.

I expected Apple Music for a long time and fully intend to be a paying subscriber, already registered for the service (nice to have a trial to at least know where we stand).

But without the possibility to listen to songs offline (they have DRM on them anyway, so I hope piracy is no longer a subject), the service is way less useful than it should be, and there are indeed better options on the market.

I really hope Apple will finally fix this, before the trial ends.

BTW: is there any email support for Apple, as the site only shows phone support.

As long as it doesn't work on iTunes for Mac/PC, the fact that through various methods you can activate it on IPad/iPhone is useless.

You will never be able to sync those offline tunes/playlists between devices or with your Mac/PC. Moreover, because the service is not working on the computer, you will have issues with syncing playlists from computer to device. You will get the message that all playlists are synced through Apple Music and as such, none of your PC/Mac playlists will sync to the IPad/iPhone.

yep same here. I've switched completely to windows phone. In WP10 I can upload all my music to onedrive and access it from Music app with no restrictions. Also I can redownload songs that I've already bought. There may be less games on wp platform, and apps are not updated as often as on IOS but for me many other things are more important, such as not being lied to directly to buy a broken service.

So in these 2 links you can see what's the problem. In the first one it says that Apple Music WILL be available in the following countries. Note the future tense.

In the 2nd one it says Apple Music will be available as well as Apple Music Radio. You can use the radio, but not the full feature of Apple Music as of now. So that's the problem.

It will be available sometime in the future, probably in the fall when they launch new ****. For now, just listen online. In the future you will definitely use it.

This is what people at Apple told me. It was a senior advisor, so I guess it's good.

Eh, I don't care if it WILL be available or not, they advertised on their website that romanian users can ( NOW ) save music offline if the account joins their subscription plan that includes 3 months free.As of now some features are not working and the service is crippled , not fully functional as they advertised. They really messed this.

I've been contacted back by Apple Support and guess what? After so many time investigating, apparently the reason it is not available is because... wait for it... "iCloud music library is not available in Romania". If that isn't disappointing enough, hear this "we have no eta (estimative time of arrival) at this point" meaning they have no plans of making it available for now... extremely annoying.
