Some songs on album greyed out

I had similar issues and deleting the album and adding it to my music again seemed to fix the issue for me.

Can you do that with R-Kive ? I wonder if you can play the greyed one... please let us know

Hmm interesting I am in the US and I can play that Silent Runner song but there are several other songs that are greyed out for me. Adds evidence to the idea that this is a distribution rights issue.

I'll bet its related to "album only" songs on iTunes - the greyed out tracks albums I tried to download are the same as "album only" tracks in iTunes store.

Having the same issue in Australia with a couple albums as well.

For me it was the '2pac greatest hits'. On Spotify its fine.

Yes, I believe as already mentioned that it has something to do with 'album only' tracks. If you find you can't play a track on Apple Music, have a look at its album on the iTunes Store. If it's "album only" then it seems we can't do anything about it until Apple fixes it. And I do expect them to fix it because other streaming services e.g. Spotify don't have this restriction.

I don't think it has something to do with 'album only' tracks. Same here with 1st track 'Can't do without you' from album 'Our love' by Caribou. It is not an 'abum only' track in the itunes store. Odd: In another version of the album (expanded edition), the track is available. Maybe it is just a bug and Apple will fix it.

Are you able to buy/download all tracks there? I'm asking because there are no "album only" tracks and I'm able to download only five tracks as I already mentioned (Re: Some songs on album greyed out).

I've found the solution: go to Settings - General - Restrictions then enable restrictions and then go to Allowed Content section and tap on Music & Podcasts and enable Explicit. After that you can disable Restrictions and all songs should appea

THis kind of ****** manipulations are not in the Apple style. Here is the screenshot:

this solution didn't worked for me .... and consider that what I see grey on my iphone I see grey on itunes Mac as well.... so it is not the client issue ... rather is the server blocking it .... (refer at Silent Running - R-kive album - Genesis)... if you can play it and before it was very you found the trick ....

I think that's it. I checked this Genesis album and every song that is greyed out is "Album Only" in iTunes.

So is there seriously no fix for this? Seems like a huge problem that's going untouched. I tried the log in and out, as well as checked the explicit content settings. Neither worked.

For me, the songs are greyed out, and will only play if I double click them. If they are within an album and are the next song up, they'll just get skipped. Very annoying 😕
