Camera shows up in Photos but not on Desktop or Finder

I am trying to connect my GoPro to import photos to my computer, and i like doing it by manually dragging and dropping files from the cameras folder because i find Photos superslow when importing. However this time when connecting, my GoPro wont show up in either the finder or on the desktop, although it does show up in Photos as well as Image Capture. Does anyone know how to fix this?

EDIT: And yes, i have checked all the boxes for connected devices to show up in Finder/Desktop
