Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
so i went into and app and then clicked back to the home screen and then my ipad just restarted. I didnt hold down anything. This has happened to me before and has deleted all of my storage.

Did it delete all of your data both times? Did it happen using the same app? It could be a hardware fault with the device, especially if it happened more than once. If you can, take it in to an Apple Store/Genius Bar to get a free evaluation. You'll need your Apple ID to make the reservation:
