iphone 6 charger wire damaged. disappointing!!!!!

How was it damaged? Have you taken it back to an Apple store to see if they will replace it?

The lightning connectors give some users problems, but with care they will hold up for a long time.

"Damaged" means that the charger came to harm (got caught in a door, chewed on by a puppy). It is not Apple's fault or responsibility.

If the charger is defective (meaning you weren't careless with it but it just stopped working) and it is less than one year old, Apple will most likely replace it for you.
