I don't want Apple Music. Can I maintain status quo with the new app?

Without the iOS 8.4 and iTunes 12.2, when I purchase a song on iTunes the song automatically downloads to my iPhone 6 Plus and my iPad. I do not have iTunes Match. If I rip music to my iTunes library, I simply connect my iPhone to my MacBook Pro and sync. Will this continue if I update to iOS 8.4 and iTunes 12.2? I do not intend to sign up for Apple Music - free trial or subscription. So will my iTunes purchasing experience change? I want to keep it the same. I do not want to stream any music.

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch,Early 2015), OS X Yosemite (10.10.3), iPhone 6 Plus / 128GB; iPad 4 / 64GB
