OK, I am a complete newbee to iPhone and iOS. Purchased a iPhone 4, hooked it up with my tracphone BYOP service and all was good, UNTIL, i saw the little RED bubble telling me to UPGRADE my iOS on my iPhone, so I firgured it is telling me I need to upgrade so I upgraded to iOS 8.4, now I can not MAKE or RECEIVE calls. tracfone tells me I need to DOWNGRADE to iOS 7.1.2 in order to get my phone to work again. But I do not know how? Help
You can NOT downgrade. If it upgraded to 8.4, it is not an iPhone 4. It's a 4S.
Tracphone is not a supported carrier. You'll have to work it out with them or switch to a supported carrier.
