I can't transfer Apple Music to iPod Nano

I started Apple Music trial, and I added some songs to My Music library, when I connect my iPod Nano 7g and try to sync. It says that song was not copied to the iPod because it is a subscription item.

It is supposed that I can play them offline, right?

iPod nano, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4), null

Apparently there has been a rumor that was mentioned today (2015.07.14) which is an announcement of a new iPod Nano.

I guess they rushed the idea of Apple Music to get it started without planning to get their devices all compatible with the feature.

More bad planning as usual. The only problem is when do we expect them, can't they think of a patch for the time being to get those iPod nano's in use but I guess I already mentioned that and doesn't look promising after the rumor of a new iPod.

If Apple Music was designed to make people to listen to music then iPod Nano/Shuffle should've been part of it. Having Apple Music is great but only if you use your iPhone or iPod Touch, but in my case I use an iPod Nano to listen to music while running or working out. In other words I would end up choosing one plan either to be involved in Apple Music or not .. I guess its that simple but again there are probable possibility of having the Apple Music run on your iPod Nano/Shuffle, just a matter of decision making.

Apple Music was designed to compete against other Music services such as Spotify, Google Play Music, Groove (former Xbox Music) and soon Facebook Music and since none of them are available to work on shuffle or nano (hence wifi not available) then Apple decided to exclude them from that option.

I am reading / following this thread with great interest.

What would happen if I mark albums to be available Offline (in Apple Music) on an iPod touch 5th generation and I would take the device with me to gym, where no wifi / internet connection is available?

If I disable wifi and cellular data on my iphone 6, I can still play the off-line content, so that looks pretty hopeful.
