Does this iPad use a cellular network and which one?
Working now.
Hello, is an ipad 4th generation and now it doesn´t use a cellular connection, I just use the wifi
This seems to be a random issue with some devices on LTE networks like AT&T but it may have something to do with the device's network ID since the servers seem to reject them when trying to connect. Apple seems to be working on this quietly and you may have to power off and try again later on.
I already did, since I have this issue some time ago, as I describe before, I am trying to logout my id from icloud, but I can not do that, beacuse that Id does not exists any more (because I unsubscribe from the mail that is associated my icloud id),
greetings,
You need the same Apple ID & password from the previous original owner.
or try here to retrieve the Apple ID below
I am so sorry for not paying attention since I was so excited about the iCloud problem, my apologies. Did you use a backup email address by chance?
I have done this by accident because I lost an email account and only saved it by using the backup email. Can you recover the old email account at all?
I have been told that I would have to start over by Apple support if I lost my backup.
I can not use the iforgot password because I can not login to the email associated to my iCloud, the email does not exists any more,
do I explain myself?
greetings,
Yes, if you did not use another email or phone number to recover the ID then you might not be able to use that ID at all. If you are able to log in to the iPad you can simply add a new ID to it but you will not be able to take the old one off. This is done to prevent theft. You might be able to restore it with a computer after 90 days but I am not sure about this.
The e-mail address is your Apple user account and has no bearing to your e-mail address.
If the Apple ID is yours then use the iforgot link.
If you have the original receipt then make an appointment with Apple genius
If your device is second hand, get the original owner Apple ID & password.
If none above then you got a brick.
No problem, unfortunately I do not have a backup email, I already tried to go to an apple support center (I am from Uruguay) but without any success, that is why I am requesting help from this forum,
You may have to turn it off for 90 days and try to restore it from a computer with iTunes. I would keep trying with Apple but maybe try the Brazil centers since they have more people. Que es tu Portuguese?
I will try to do that, hope it can be fix, I speak spanish, every time I want to reset from factory or logout my icloud account, requests my id of iCloud
Is there a way, somewhat, to restore my id with a different mail?, just to logout from icloud
If you use an ID with a @mail.yu.com or @mail.net try using the same name but with @icloud.yu instead. Replace the old mail's name with iCloud and see if you get an email on the device. Of course you need to be able to use the iPad to do it.
