Can't subscribe to Apple Music

ive also tried iTunes Match in the past but didn't renew my subscription

I also had iTunes Match previously and didn't renew it, now I'm receiving the same error. Maybe there's some kind of internal fight going on.

Same here. Cancelled iTunes Match after a year. Cannot start an Apple Music subscription. Yay for figuring something out!

Great! I believe we're on to something. Past iTunes Match subscribers who did not renew their iTunes Match are having the error message pop up not allowing them to subscribe to Apple Music.

I had this problem as well. For my setup I've use iTunes as my share purchase account, not as the family leader. I logged out of iTunes and back in again as the family leader and it worked.

Hopefully they fix it because it is really confusing right now because I can't see my iTunes purchases in iTunes anymore.
