Can't subscribe to Apple Music

When I try to subscribe to Apple Music I get the following error, both on iOS and Mac:

Sorry

We've found a problem that prevents us from signing you up for Apple Music at this time. We expect to have it fixed within a few days, and we thank you for your patience.

It happens right after I click on 'Start 3 month free trial' and then 'Individual'.

Any ideas what could be going one? I can't find anything on the web about it.

UK had this error message for 2 days now. Happy with Spotify, but interested to see how Music performs.

For me, this iTunes Match thing is a red herring. One person suggested it but it's fair to say most Apple customers who are interested in Music will be the same people who once gave iTunes Match a try. Just sounds like teething problems to me. Either way - fix it soon, Apple while you have my interest!

After had been waiting for 3 days Apple fixes this issue I've just tried to subscribe to the family service using my girlfriend account. It worked seamlessly and now we both can have full access to apple music. Although they said that there is no relation between iTunes Match ex users and this issue with apple music, it's hard to believe that this is only a coincidence. Anyway this is a workaround if you're tired to wait for them fix it.

Same here, didn't renew iTunes Match and can't subscribe to Apple Music ("We've found a problem that prevents us from signing you up for Apple Music at this time. We expect to have it fixed within a few days, and we thank you for your patience."). I'm waiting for an answer from Apple Support, will post here when I have something...

I'm travelling a lot so maybe my account is in trouble geolocation-wise: I tried first from a country where Apple Music isn't available (but both my account & linked credit card are from a country where it's available).
