Windows 7 Vanished after Yosemite update... help?

Hi, to anyone that might be able to help.

I have a macbook air and have recently done a Yosemite update, 10.10.4 and since doing so i can no longer boot from my Windows 7 partition. Even when booting with the option key.

Loner T has put a few posts asking for information from 'Terminal'. I did this and it just kept going and going and going, so i stopped it and her is the first 20 lines which seem to be the information needed:

I am on 2013 MBP

I couldn't see my Windows 7 partition after installing Yosemite.

I just followed all of the steps and made my partition visible again.

When I tried to boot it, it said "A disk read error occurred. control-alt-del to restart"

I tried to use the windows repair tool like I saw in one of Loner T's posts, but when I booted from the flash drive, I couldn't navigate the windows menu, no response form the trackpad or keyboard.

I assume it was a driver issue with the Windows 7 software, not recognizing the keyboard or trackpad.

I went into bootcamp assistant and added:

<string>iMacBookPro11,1</string>

to info.plist in the bootcamp assistant package contents.

Then ran:

sudo codesign -fs - /Applications/Utilities/Boot\ Camp\ Assistant.app/Contents/info.plist

sudo codesign -fs - /Applications/Utilities/Boot\ Camp\ Assistant.app

I burned win7 to my flashdrive again.

I ran:

sudo /usr/sbin/bless --device /dev/disk2 --setBoot --nextonly --legacy

and then I rebooted

My MBP does not recognize the flashdrive as a bootable disk.

I removed <string>MacBookPro11,1</string> from info.plist and burned again, and I have the same not bootable problem.

I fear I have corrupted boot camp assistant, and I don't know how to reinstall it.

Can someone help me? I want to repair my windows partition so I can use it... mostly so I can get the install key and then reinstall because its probably very corrupted at this point haha.

1. You can make BCA work correctly if you use

sudo codesign --deep -fs - /Applications/Utilities/Boot\ Camp\ Assistant.app

2. If the MBP does not have a built-in Optical drive, you will be shown the option to create a USB installer. Please use a USB2 flash drive, not a USB3 device.

3. Use BCA to create a USB installer, which does not require the use of bless command.

I have no optical drive, I've been using a USB 2.0 flash drive

I ran:

sudo codesign --deep -fs - /Applications/Utilities/Boot\ Camp\ Assistant.app

reinstalled win 7 using BCA on my USB 2.0 flash drive

the option at the bottom in BCA was only to remove the windows partition, instead of install

restarted, held down option key, and there was no flash drive to boot from. Only machd and windows.

ran

sudo /usr/sbin/bless --device /dev/disk2s1 --setBoot --nextonly --legacy

and restarted.

"non-bootable disk

ctrl-alt-del to restart"

I tried to repair yosemite with the re-install instructions here:

https://support.apple.com/kb/PH18872?locale=en_US

Next what happened was pretty bad...

I went to log in to my mac partition and i got a big no smoking sign

I restarted + CTRL R and installed yosemite again, except this time my wifi cut out in the middle of the download and it wasn't able to continue when I reconnected.

Next the menu for restard + ctrl R became a spinning globe with a terrible, incomplete UI to pick a wireless connection. Whichever service is closest to your computer, most likely your home wifi, does not show up in the list of available networks. I can manually input my network credentials but of course it can't connect that way either, so I can't connect to the internet. Same deal with my Wifi at work, it can't select the nearest wifi, but it can see the second nearest and so on.

I found a usb to ethernet at work, that allowed me to connect. The download takes hours. I finally get back to the recovery area where I can install yosemite, use safari, or disc utility and something else I forget. I accidentally reboot, and I'm back to where I was before I downloaded anything. This time, it will not download through ethernet.

restarting with command+ option+ R+ P or restarting with left shift+ control+ option have not helped my situation either
