Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
When i go to itunes and click on the 'connect' it just says "an error occurred" so i cannot use Apple Music on my mac. It works perfectly on my iPhone 5s.

Radio and Connect are supposed to work with Show Apple Music de-selected, and without subscribing to Apple Music.
If they don't, force iTunes to re-sign in to your iTunes account. Simplest way is to click on your name on the title bar to access the account menu, and then select Account Info.
This should prompt you to sign in with your Apple ID. After doing so, Radio and Connect will start working.

I tried that and it's already ticked on, i've signed out and back on again, i've turned the computer off and on.. iTunes is up to date. No matter what I do, there always the error message D:
Anyone know what else can be done? I've already turned off for automatic renewal because well, I haven't been able to even use the 3 month trial. >.<
This fixed it!
1. Click the "Show Apple Music" under preferences
2. Click the "For you" tab.
3. IMPORTANT - LOG OUT OF YOUR APPLE ACCOUNT
4. Press "Already a member" (You will be prompted with an log in screen.
5. Log in
6. Enjoy!

Still didn't work for me 😟
Basically, I did everything step by step. Then on step 5 I log in, and it just keeps asking me to sign in to itunes match and then itunes store over and over again. It never ends. My 3 month trial is already almost over and I haven't been able to use it once on iTunes. Oh well.
Try
3.1 Close Itunes. Really close it. Down from the bottom right also (if you are on a PC)
3.2 Restart your Mac/PC
Did the step-by-step and closed iTunes and shut down my Mac Mini, waited a bit, and restarted. No luck. I even heard a tip on the McCast podcast to change the DNS number and used OpenDNS. No luck. All the other radio stations work properly in iTunes, it is only Beats 1 that hangs on 0:00 to not play.
Worked a treat once I logged in and out. Both Music and Radio now work. Thanks
If you have "show apple music" ticked and you still get the error, try signing out and signing in again. That worked for me.
