how do i enable my ipod if my on/off button is broke

i need to unlock my ipod i bought from someone but there is a passcode and it is disabled now.. how could i reset it if the power button doesnt work??

Place the iPod in recovery mode using the method described here:

Turn on without Home/Power Button

The restore via iTunes

If the iPod had iOS 7 or later you will need to enter the ID and password last used i Settings>iClold to activate the iPod for use

You can also have them remove the device from their account

Apple will not help you
