Error caused by AppleIntelHD4000GraphicsGLDriver
Hi all,
I am afraid that my 3-week old Macbook Pro Mid-2012 has some hardware error.
I have the following upgrades on my machine: 16GB Crucial for Mac, Samsung 850 Evo and the original drive in the optical bay with an caddy adaptor. Yosemite 10.10.4 has just been reinstalled (fresh install).
A very important tool for my workflow is Panoply (http://www.giss.nasa.gov/tools/panoply/), a small Java application that reads Geo-gridded data.
The problem is that this application will not run on my computer. It throws out a huge error message related to the file /System/Library/Extensions/AppleIntelHD4000GraphicsGLDriver.bundle/Contents/MacO S/AppleIntelHD4000GraphicsGLDriver
Please see the complete log here: http://pastebin.com/An3vVGXi.
A complete Apple Hardware Test run took more than 2 hours and completed with no error. And these are the EtreCheck results: http://pastebin.com/NY9KruCy
What I tried to do:
- Reset PRAM
- Reset SMC
- Reinstall Yosemite
Is this really a driver error, even on a brand new Yosemite? I wonder if my graphic card can be malfunctioning, even though the computer is less than a month old?
I appreciate any input!
