my ipad wont join the network..why?

Hello, my son gave me his ipad and since I am a first time user I am at a loss as to why it wont join the network. I rebooted the router, (which by the way work on PC and lap top) reinstalled router, tried two other routers, and still I get the same two messages. Incorrect password, or, unable to join network. I really need to have this thing work. My son moved accross the country ths week and I really need to be able to face time him. Please any help will be appreciated. 🙂

From your post I understand your iPad is unable to join a Wi-Fi network. To help troubleshoot this issue, in order for you to get in contact with your son, please follow the steps in the article below.
