Ipod touch stuck in recovery mode.

I was adding music to my itunes, and as i started syncing, the wire which i used and is faulty fell out. Now my ipod just shows the black screen with the apple logo. And shows the image to connect it to itunes. I have connected to itunes and tried recovering it, it only shows me could not recover ipod error message 1.

- Place the iPod in DFU mode and then restore

- Try on another computer

- Try another cable

- Also, confirm your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers.
