After updating to 8.4 on my iphone 6, I can't hardly ever get a text to send, facebook to open and update, emails to open or update. Texts not toning in when and if I recieve them, same goes for email After reset my prior emails may be there and they may not. Sometimes when trying to text the phone will make send and receive noises as soon as I open the text app.. Not able to open some apps, it simply goes right back to the homepage. I have tried the reset buttons. It simply is doing all kinds of crazy things and I don't know what else to do about it. Any suggestions or comments will be greatly appreciated. Any questions I will answer as soon as possible as well. The only thing that seems to be working right is when I make a phone call.

Howdy there DM213,

It sounds like your phone is having a variety of issues with multiple apps that don't seem to have a common cause. I would start by quitting all the running apps on the device. Normally you only need to quit the affected app but since many are, I feel it would be best to quit them all:

Force an app to close in iOS

1. Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps.
2. Swipe left to find the app you want to close.
3. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.

When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:

iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

If the issue persists, backup your device to iTunes, then restore it as new and verify that it works.

How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
If it does, then restore your backup to either verify it still works and the software just needed reinstalled, or isolate the issue to the backup file itself.
