Customization of the Control Center is a part of iOS 11. I don't know exactly what things you'll be able to add but, it's at least a step in the direction people posting in this thread want to go.
Lol many thanks, can't see it happening though, probably get just another filter. Over the space of a year that extra click I could be using for othed things like telling people how wonderful (sad) my life is on social media.

Ok, since you keep insisting. I'll have it ready for you on Tuesday, 19 September.
You are not talking to Apple here. We are simply users just like you trying to help each other out with questions. Just because you provide feedback doesn't require Apple to incorporate it into iOS. If they decide to add it they will do so at their discretion.
you can give them the feedback here
Thanks, I know that and I already did this.

No, really, it's not. It's a convenience. The phone works just fine without it.
Wait, a requirement for a shortcut? Let's see...
Settings/Cellular/Cellular Data (3 taps)
vs.
Control Center (swipe-up) and one tap (assuming this is your shortcut)
My hand hurts just thinking about this dilemna. đ
"Shortcut to toggle cellular data" - I assume you mean a switch in Control Panel as it does appear in Settings. This can hardly be considered a "requirement" as switching in Settings only adds 2-3 seconds to accomplish what you want.

And, of course, I'd guess most people never turn their cellular data off.
Not in the USA, where most users have cheap gigabytes of data allotment. However, there are countries where cellular data is very restricted or expensive.
Notwithstanding the tone/exaggeration of the original post, there's one for bluetooth, one for wi-fi, why not cell data? Matter of opinion, but given the other shortcuts, and if you use it often enough, two vs. three clicks is an appreciable difference.

Submit your feedback to Apple requesting such a feature here:
Thanks, I did just that, and I appreciate the link from both you and the earlier responder. (The generalizations about how many people do/don't use a feature and esp. sarcasm re the requested shortcut I find unfriendly and unhelpful, but that's my personal response, and I understand where you may be coming from. The point about this being a discussion board, not a help line, is as usual well taken.)
