Safari & Adobe

When trying to play games using safari on Facebook and using the Weight Watchers website, I get a message saying 'Get Adobe flash player'.

I have downloaded this so many times and still getting same message. This is on my iMac (21.5-inch, Late 2013) running OS X 10.10.4, yet when I play same on my MacBook Air (11 inch, Early 2014) also running OS X 10.10.4 they work and I do not get the message about Adobe.

Can anyone explain this please and maybe point me in the right direction as to what I need to do?

This is the only thing showing in the Launch agents file: file:///Library/LaunchAgents/com.trusteer.rapport.rapportd.plist

That's not the right folder. Please review the instructions and follow them exactly. Don't do something else that you think will have the same effect.

Okay I have done everything now, deleted the malware etc and it still says I need adobe flash, do I need to download & install it again? Thank you for all your help too. 🙂

You may actually need to update Flash. A new version was just released. Get it directly from the Adobe website, nowhere else.

Thanks for your help, have done the lot, updated adobe flash from adobe etc and still it says I need adobe flash player! I give up. 😟

Avoid the sites that give you the fake warning.
