Jailbroken iPod touch 5G iOS 8.3 won't start or react to anything (ANYTHING!!!...)
So here I am (shameful)...
I've recently jailbroken my (2 year old) iPod touch 5G on iOS 8.3 (with TaiG 2.0.1 if that can be for any help...)
I've then, downloaded a tweak called Vshare on Cydia.
After the download, the icon of Vshare wasn't on the springboard, so I've wanted to reboot it...
But it never started again... the Apple logo just shows up (once every 10 minutes or so, it glitches out, disappears then reshows up, and so on...).
When I plug it to my pc (windows 7 [doubt it'll help]), NOTHING happens, the iPod does not "beep" to it, absolutely nothing happens on iTunes or on the device's screen...
And I've already tried these solutions from Illaass:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar
... but none of these worked... so here I'm stuck to that infernal Apple logo for ever... thinking about buying a new iPod...
Please, if anyone of you has a solution to that (despite buying a new one...)... it would be welcomed with open arms.
Thanks in advance
Regards
