Huge Apple Music cache

I have a MacBook Pro with only 17 Gb free space left. I got a warning message while listening to Apple Music, that the storage left on my drive was less than 100 Mb. Apparently Apple Music just creates a huge cache (17 Gb in my case, which is ridiculous) and doesn't seem to flush this, even though diskspace is tight.

There's no option to delete the cache. The only way to free up space is to disable the iCloud library and turn it back on (if you want to sync music & playlists among devices).

Having a cache might limit streaming and bandwidth, but if I just listen to a personalized playlist or station by artist, I'm not necessarily going to listen to all those songs again. So no need for caching everything. And: at least flush the cache way before the disk is full.

Apple should fix this a.s.a.p. to get me on board of the Apple Music train. Till then I'll stick to Spotify.
