Spinning wheel prisoner - help!
Problem description:
Was getting very slow with spinning wheel lasting longer for each new mouse click or button press. Upgraded to Yosemite OS, from 4 to 8 GB RAM, installed and then deleted CleanMy Mac after reading posts, and tried the most commonly listed performance improving tricks. It is now worse than ever, with the spinning wheel on for several minutes with each new button pressed or mouse click.
It is a MacBook Pro - 13”, late 2011 with 2.4 GHz IntelCore I5, 8 GB - 1333MHz DDR3 RAM
I downloaded and ran Etre Check today and got the following report:
Very grateful for any advice/assistance as this Mac is just about unusable.
