Why won't iTunes Match work in iTunes 12.2.1?

Ever since the new Apple Music started, iTunes Match isn't an option for my to turn on my iTunes for Windows 8. It's listed on the store menu but I don't have the option to click on it. I was struggling with this last night with my wife's computer and now my computer. I tried importing a CD for my wife last night but couldn't turn Match on so it wasn't showing up in her library. This is what it looks like when I try to use Match with Apple Music.

I went to this website.

I used option #4 and my iTunes match synced with my updated iPhone. I have been regularly updating my iPhone but I haven't updated my iPad since I realized the trouble that was being caused by Apple Music. If you haven't updated, I suggest you don't. iTunes Match still works fine with the IOS versions that were released prior to July 2015. My phone is running version 8.4.1. I think all the problems started with the release of version 8.4. I will add that even though the music is updated on my iPhone, the album artwork did not update. The album artwork is fine on my iMac. Go figure.

If I can be so bold as to answer that question; those of us that post here like Apple products. I think they're the best. Yes, they do have some problems that need to be fixed, and yes, the powers that be sometimes seem to ignore the advice of the customers, but overall, I think Apple has the best thing going. And bear in mind, this is a forum for exchanging ideas. Those ideas sometimes are in the form of complaints. The world is not perfect.

There are even STORIES about this now on various computer and music sites. A quick Google search found this at the top of the list today: http://www.theverge.com/2015/7/1/8877129/apple-music-icloud-problems So if nothing else, hopefully this will get fixed sooner or later. I would have expected it to be fixed in the many updates since this thread started, but still not working for me on Mac OS or on my PCs.

Apple Insider says the following (from this column: http://appleinsider.com/articles/15/07/03/how-apple-music-and-the-icloud-music-l ibrary-work-with-itunes-match

Quote:

Why some users may want to leave iCloud Music Library turned off

At the moment iCloud Music Library is potentially dangerous to turn on. Users have complained about it creating duplicates, assigning inaccurate metadata and artwork, and/or restoring previously-deleted music.

For people with large, carefully-tagged iTunes libraries, this can create chaos and undo years of work. In our own experiences, we've also run into some major issues in enabling the feature.

More seriously the option is in some cases not only deleting playlists, but causing the files in them to disappear.

Well, I call Apple Care about every other week now. At first my MacBook Pro's iTunes Match wasn't working with Apple Music. Then after Apple Care got a hold of it my brand new iMac 5k's iTunes Match didn't work. Now, after waiting for Apple Music to stop my iPhone's iMatch doesn't work. I guess Apple has written off iTunes Match. I back up religiously. So my CD collection is okay even though I got rid rid of my CDs when iTunes Match came out (big mistake). I no longer have a shred of trust with Apple Music. I hate Apple Music with a passion - after two iPhones, two MacBook Pros, a new iMac 5k for work, an iPod, and a few shuffles minis etc. etc.. I'm a classical composer and performer. Don't trust your music to Apple. I buy CDs now. Where is that, it just works thing?
