A friend and I have been using Find My Friends for years. However, lately, FMF has been kicking me off - it randomly switches so that I am not following her anymore. She continues to have no issues and remains a follower of me, but every time I want to check her location, I have to ask to follow her again.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a fix?

I am having this same issue.
My wife who used to be the same shared apple id has moved to her own id, but whenever I want to check in, I need to request access again. Once acess is granted it seems to work for 24 hrs or so and then fails!

Me too. No fix appears to have been discovered. So is that the end of the trail??
