I see there used to be several companies that made cd/dvd adapters so a mini dvd could be used on a Mac but they all have been discontinued.
Is there anywhere to purchase a mini dvd adapter?

optical media is going the way of the dodos like the floppy before them
but macs use the same generic driver for external optical drives as windows and linux so if you find
one it need likely not state mac compatibility
I did google and checked eBay before coming to this area but nothing is currently available same with amazon. If you find something let me know, I hit a dead end everywhere I looked.
You can always purchase an external, tray loading optical drive.
The tray loading drives have a recess in the tray for accepting mini discs.
Here's a source for Mac compatible optical drives. These are better quality optical drives.
Tray loading optical drives are more reliable, plus they are capable of playing those smaller mini sized discs.
