Which is the best matte monitor for the mini?

I'm interested in buying a brand new mac mini. Will buy the $699 version with 2.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB memory, 1TB hard drive, and Intel Iris Graphics.

My issue is the monitor. I can't have the mac monitors because the shiny screens make me sick within a couple of minutes of looking at them. I need a matte screen and Mac doesn't make any. So I need to find a wide matte screen (at least 27 inches, but bigger would be even better) that works well with the mini and doesn't cost a fortune.

Would appreciate any insight anyone has on this.

Thanks.

The monitor has VGA and HDMI on the back. I chose to use HDMI - first off because it's high definition, and seconly because one HDMI cable transports audio and video (the monitor has built in speakers). With VGA you'd need an 'aux' cord as well.

The Mac Mini has an HDMI port on the back so you don't need any adapters 🙂 It also means you have the Mini Display port free if you want to add a second monitor (like I've done).
