`Apple Music` skips tracks.

After updating iTunes, Apple Music (apple's new streaming service) skips most tracks. In this screen-record video (link below), all tracks are skipped on this album, but at times, there are a couple to a few tracks that work fine. I use Apple Music in Canada. I am using Apple Music during the 3 month trial period. Someone else in my household is Apple Music too. We are each using individual trials under separate accounts, not the family Apple Music pack. They are experiencing the same issue.

I live in Canada using iTunes version 12.1.16 on a MacBook Pro.

You don't have to change it on the router, change it in your network setting in windows: open Network and Sharing Center (from control panel), change adapter settings (on the left hand side), right click on the connection that you're using to connect to the internet, properties, Internet protocol Version 4, enter this IP in the "Preffered DNS Server" 199.85.126.10 , hit ok, ok - and that's it, should be working straight away.

Same issue with me here in Ireland. Every Apple Music song I try to play/stream just skips and will not play. I signed in and out of my Apple ID, closed iTunes, restarted my Mac, cleared the cache, turned off and on Apple Music, restarted my router, and no result. If that wasn't enough, I contacted Apple support and they told me to reinstall OS X. I went a step further and backed up all my files to an external hard drive, then cleared all the storage on my Mac and reinstalled OS X. Guess what? Nothing. I then contacted Apple support again to tell them all that didn't work and you know what they said?! Yes, that's right, send away my Macbook for repair!!! For what!!?? Because I can't stream a song!? These idiots are unbelievable. No way am I doing that! This needs to be fixed right away.

also in Ireland; on Eircom; Apple Music from iTunes stopped working. But working from iPhone and iPad - using of course same Eircom WiFi

On the MAC - I can use a US VPN server which updates the DNS server (based on other replies to this issue) - works perfectly.

Also tested on a Windows machine; using a US VPN and works perfectly.

Issue is iTunes and Apple's european servers.

I had the exact same problem with apple music it was working fine on my iPhone but not on my macbook pro. Spoke to apple who where of no real help they told me to deauthorise iTunes then reauthorise it, start my computer in safe mode, restart my computer etc etc and none of it worked eventually i gave up after 3 hours. Until now i saw that changing DNS settings might help and guess what it works completely fine now. I don't completely understand DNS but i changed it too 199.85.126.10 and it worked. You can change it in settings>networks>DNS>+

Im pleased its helped, however Apple should really step this up, I imagine for some reason their Apple music servers have blacklisted some providers DNS lookups etc ( which means some UK users like myself with SKY won't be able to connect)

this happens occasionally also to large gaming companies like blizzard their ISP used to periodically block all users of Virgin . it had nothing to do with anything blizzard did but it meant 1000's couldn't play world of warcraft !

Im sure Apple will get it all sorted as soon as possible.
