iPhone 6. Add my Google account. I briefly get to see that all the services are 'green', & I know it's logged on to Google (email about new device), but the account doesn't appear on the phone. Why?

Go to Settings Email Accounts delete account that not working

Then add Email account back again .

hey. not sure if you still have this problem, but i ran into it at work and here is the solution.

when adding your google account, choose exchange instead of google.

for server, use m.google.com

for the rest, just make sure you enter your entire google username, domain included.

it worked as expected after that.

Thanks. That strange process has got my Google account into the list of accounts in 'Settings', and I can tell it to collect 'Calendars' and Reminders (& not the other things). But none of the events I can see in Google Calendar show up on my iPhone.

I have the same problem on my Iphone 5 since last sunday. I get the new devic login mail and everything but the mail isnt on my phone, but i can.t even make the exchange trick work! when I try to refresh my mail( using exchange), it keeps giving me a message saying it cant connect to the server. I wish it can get a fix ASAP.

I think both this linked problem and this thread are the same problem. It'd be great to get some answers, as I can't access my emails and have to use multiple different apps for my calendars. Obviously using 2+ calendar apps can create problems 😟 (such as double-booking).

I am suffering from the exact same issue. 6s with iOS 9.01. Looking for anything to try.

I asked Apple support and they couldn't figure it out after multiple tries (resetting the phone, etc).

This is what I tried and it worked. Set up the caldav account for google calendar.

It will only show your own google calendar. If you have a shared calendar from another account (my wife's in my case) on your google calendar, and you want it to also show, you have to do this:

Update: I tried jchong1102's suggestion and it worked for me.

This worked. I wanted to sync the events calendar for my church, which is on Google Calendar. It turned out that I needed the email address for the events calendar, which was not the same as the info email address which was the only church email address I knew. Once I had the correct address, I linked the events calendar to my personal Google calendar and then used the instructions in the links you supplied to add my personal Google calendar to the iPhone app.
