Suddenly my ipad has hundreds of old emails from 2 - 3 years ago in my inbox. I use AOL. How do I delete them quickly? I've tried one at a time, and hours later, I'm still not done.

II've never used aol, but in the mail app and tap edit on the top of the screen then you should see little grey circles next to the emails tap the circles and then they will get a blue check mark. When the emails you want to delete are checked hit the delete or trash button.
I Have 15k emails in my iPad mail inbox. The recommended "solution" is still way to inefficient. How can I delete inbox emails by the 100's or even an entire mailbox without spending hours?
