apple tv active in itunes but inactive in mirror display mac
AppleTV 2, OS X Yosemite (10.10.4)
Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
Those are two separate things. You are enabling basic AirPlay within iTunes, which will send media from within there to Apple TV.
MIrroring is for sending your full Macs display, is enabled separately, and requires a Mac from 2011 or later
Thanks for the answer. The question is, How can i enable the mirror displays for see my full mac Display? My mac is Yosemite 10.10.4
Your Mac would also need to be a model from 2011 or later, if unsure you can verify by clicking the Apple icon (top left) and about this Mac
What firmware is currently running on the Apple TV?
Ok, everything looks good. For some reason it's not detecting the Apple TV for mirroring. Try rebooting all components (ATV, computer, router)
Hi my friend.
I rebooted the 3 devices and still doesnt work 😟 Sometimes when i have a doubt about some tech problems, always found the answer in google or in this forum. On this ocation there are no information about this problem.
Thank you for your time and your help buddy vazandreew!!!
No problem. The only other thing I can suggest is to connect the Apple TV to router via ethernet, or take it to Apple for testing.
